Purpose and boundaries

MRX content helps owners organize facts, documents, assumptions, limitations, and next questions. It does not replace an independent valuation, fairness opinion, title opinion, reserve report, engineering conclusion, or individualized work from an attorney, tax professional, accountant, or other qualified professional.

Source standards for MRX educational content

• Use official agencies, statutes, court or county records, operator filings, and other primary sources when they directly support the claim.
• Use a credible secondary source when it adds explanation or industry context, while identifying the source and its limits.
• State access or review dates when a page, dataset, or process can change.
• Do not treat public production records as proof of private title, ownership, acreage, future drilling, or a single correct price.
• Do not fabricate quotations, transactions, benchmarks, credentials, testimonials, or relationships.

Facts, assumptions, and examples

Material factual claims should be traceable to a named source or clearly presented as an assumption, scenario, or general educational example. Hypothetical stories must be labeled as fictional or illustrative. Privacy-safe examples drawn from real owner situations must remove names and details that could identify the person or property.

How MRX uses AI in editorial work

AI may help organize research, draft plain-language explanations, identify missing questions, or check structure. AI output is not treated as a source. Public content must still pass MRX source, editorial, compliance, metadata, and release checks before it is published.

Review and attribution

Articles identify an author or editorial team and may show a review date. Material updates should preserve the reviewed topic, revise the update date, and recheck sources, links, disclosures, metadata, and visible claims. Questions that require attorney, tax, accounting, title, reserve, engineering, or independent valuation work are directed to an appropriately qualified professional.

MRX’s educational role

MRX begins with educational information and a directional underwriter review. There is no obligation to sell. MRX is for educational purposes only and is not a buyer. The educational review is not presented as an independent valuation or fairness opinion.

Corrections to MRX educational content

MRX reviews specific correction requests against the cited source and the public page. When a material factual error is confirmed, we correct the page, update the review date when appropriate, and re-run the applicable release checks. Editorial disagreement, unsupported marketing requests, or requests to remove accurate public-source context are evaluated separately from factual corrections.
