Use MRX in your AI assistant
Connect a compatible AI assistant to Mineral Rights Xchange's public guides with the MRX Model Context Protocol (MCP) service. Ask an educational question, find relevant pages, and follow the source links to read the original MRX guidance.
Public MCP release: v0.2.0. Setup information updated September 23, 2026.
Connect a compatible assistant
- Use an AI client that supports remote MCP servers over HTTPS with Streamable HTTP.
- Add the server URL:
https://mrx-public-mcp.vercel.app/mcp. - Select no authentication if the client asks. The public MRX service requires no API key or MRX account.
- Enable the connection and ask the assistant to search MRX's public guides and include source links.
Connection controls and availability depend on your client, plan, and workspace settings. This setup page does not mean MRX is approved or listed in the ChatGPT app directory. Developers can use the MRX MCP README for client configuration, local installation, and troubleshooting.
A fresh server instance may need time to prepare its public-content index. If your first request reports that the index is incomplete, wait briefly and retry. You can always use the Learning Center in your browser.
Try a question with source links
- “Search MRX for inherited mineral rights. What records should I organize before a human review? Include the source links.”
- “Find MRX guides explaining why a royalty check might shrink. Separate possible causes from facts I would need to verify.”
- “Find MRX's explanation of an offer, a letter of intent, and a purchase agreement. Link to the original guide.”
Read those topics directly: inherited mineral rights, why a royalty check may go down, and offer, letter of intent, and purchase agreement differences.
What the public service can do
Six read-only tools help a client search published guides, retrieve a public page, check
service readiness, and find an appropriate starting point. Standard search
and fetch tools return source-linked results. MRX-specific tools are
mrx_search_guides, mrx_read_page, mrx_status, and
mrx_get_started.
Results are educational public content. They do not establish ownership, verify a document, determine the value of an interest, or provide individualized legal, tax, or investment advice. Read the cited page and consult an appropriately qualified professional for decisions that require one.
Keep personal information private
The MCP service cannot access private customer accounts or documents, change records, book appointments, or submit a request for you. Do not include personal documents, account numbers, contact details, or other private information in MCP questions.
The application processes requests transiently and caches public source content in memory. Vercel retains operational and security logs, and your AI provider has its own data policies. Read the public MCP privacy disclosure before connecting.
Continue with a human review
Use the guides to organize your questions, then request a free MRX review when you want to discuss your situation with the team. Connecting an assistant or receiving an AI answer does not start or complete a human review.
Choose your next step
Browse the public guides or request a conversation with the MRX team about your situation.
No card required. No obligation. Confidential review.
